The HR Associate plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day human resources operations for the Nursing+ platform. This role focuses on employee records management, compliance with state and accreditation regulations and company policies, and providing general HR administrative support to maintain a well-supported, high-quality workforce.
HR Associate responsibilities include:
Plays a key role in managing the high-volume administrative processes surrounding field and administrative employees.
Manages the full cycle hiring and onboarding process for internal administrative and internal clinical staff.
Inputs internal candidates and employees into systems such as StateWise and UKG.
Assists with conducting 30-day check-ins with newly hired employees.
Conducts personnel file audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
Assists the compliance team with maintaining personnel files.
Supports audit preparation efforts.
Addresses HR-related matters for field and internal staff.
Completes employment verifications and prepares employment related letters (ex. jury duty, verification of employment).
Processes unemployment claims in a timely and accurate manner.
Assists with coordinating employee engagement activities and retention initiatives.
Supports the administration of performance review processes.
Monitors and responds to employee inquiries in the HR ticketing system.
Maintains and updates employee information in the HRIS with accuracy.
Provides coverage for the orientation specialist, as needed.
Assists with various HR-related projects and initiatives.
Processes employee data updates, such as changes to W4s, direct deposit forms, and mailing addresses.
Maintains strict professional ethics, confidentiality, and privacy.
Performs other duties as assigned in a professional matter.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required.
A minimum of two years of human resources or equivalent experience is preferred.
Experience in health care preferred.
Customer-service oriented.
Ambition to grow and advance beyond current position.
Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, manage multiple priorities, and pay meticulous attention to detail.
Working knowledge of, or proficient in, Microsoft office applications, and quick-to-learn proprietary software package.

Annual Salary Range:
Full-Time: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00
Quarterly bonuses
*Compensation dependent on experience.
