School Social Worker – School-Based Services 

 

Location: Golden, CO

Schedule: School-Based | Daytime Hours 

Pay: $40-$44/Hour

At Care Options for Kids, our school-based Social Workers play a vital role in supporting the emotional, social, and behavioral well-being of students. This role is designed for professionals who value collaboration, systems-level impact, and helping students navigate challenges that affect learning and development. 

In this position, you’ll work directly with students to build coping skills, support social-emotional growth, and respond to crises as they arise. You’ll collaborate with educators, families, and community agencies to ensure students receive consistent, coordinated support across school and home environments.

Requirements 

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or higher from an accredited program 

  • Active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) 

  • Experience working with children or in school-based settings 

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills 

  • Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality 

  • Knowledge of therapy and intervention practices aligned with accepted standards 

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills 

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto liability insurance
