Care Options for Kids (COFK) is seeking a School-Based Business Development Manager to drive the growth and expansion of our school-based services across our geographic footprint. This individual will be responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing relationships with school districts, educational institutions, and community partners to promote our high-quality therapy and educational staffing solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, networking abilities, and a proven track record in cold calling, relationship building, and account management to help expand COFK’s school-based footprint.

About Our School-Based Services: At Care Options for Kids, we partner with schools to provide comprehensive school-based therapy and educational services, ensuring students have access to the specialized care they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond. Our dedicated therapists and professionals work collaboratively with school teams to provide: · Speech Therapy · Occupational Therapy · Physical Therapy · Behavioral Health Services · Special Education Staffing Support Our mission is to empower students to reach their fullest potential by delivering exceptional care in public, private, and charter schools. By building strong relationships with school districts and educational leaders, we ensure every school has access to high-quality, student-centered services tailored to their needs. Essential Job Functions: · Proactively market COFK’s school-based staffing and therapy solutions to existing and prospective school district partners to meet established monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets. · Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers, including: o District Administrators o Special Education Directors and Coordinators o Principals, Counselors, and Social Workers o Community Organizations and Educational Associations · Utilize networking, cold calling, and outreach techniques to develop a strong referral network and uncover new partnership opportunities within the school-based services market. · Partner closely with internal teams to align sales and marketing strategies with COFK’s mission and values. · Conduct in-services, lunch-and-learns, and educational presentations to school staff, decision-makers, and community partners. · Represent COFK at local, regional, and statewide conferences, trade shows, and educational events to increase brand awareness and drive business development opportunities. · Develop and implement targeted sales plans focused on expanding COFK’s footprint in assigned regions, leveraging data, market analysis, and competitor insights. · Track and report sales activity, pipeline progress, and revenue performance to leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals. · Collaborate with school leadership and internal COFK teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction, fostering long-term partnerships. Required Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Healthcare, Marketing, or a related field (equivalent work experience considered). · Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales within the healthcare, educational services, or staffing industry. · Demonstrated success in cold calling, networking, relationship building, and closing sales deals. · Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. · Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Key Competencies & Skills: · Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build trust with school district leaders, educators, and community stakeholders. · Strong hunter mentality with a passion for identifying and closing new opportunities. · Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. · High level of professionalism and understanding of student-centered processes in educational settings. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. · Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. · Familiarity with special education services, therapy services, and school funding processes is a plus. Physical & Work Environment Requirements: · Ability to travel within the assigned geographic territory, with occasional overnight stays required. · Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in varied educational settings. · Exposure to diverse school environments, including urban, suburban, and rural locations.
